A bound printed copy - the classroom version - will be supplied during any course in which you enrol, or assessment for which you register. Course Outline SI Scaffolding Intermediate COURSE IN INTERMEDIATE SCAFFOLDING Aims This course is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently perform Intermediate Scaffolding. The course covers regulations, safety requirements, tube and coupler scaffolds, cantilevered and spurred scaffolds, cantilevered crane loading bays, barrow ramps and sloping platforms and mast climbers. Qualifications & Recognition National competency assessment is included in the course and participants who successfully meet these competencies are eligible to apply to the Worksafe for their certificate in Intermediate Scaffolding (SI). This National Card is recognised Australia wide. Job Prospects Holders of Intermediate Scaffolding Certificates may work in the Building and Maintenance Industry or Construction sites. Opportunities for Further Study Intermediate Scaffolding can lead to further skilled training for qualifications in Advanced Scaffolding. Prerequisites Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of the English language to enable them to perform their work safely. To be eligible for assessment of competency and issue of a Worksafe Certificate a person must be at least 18 years of age. Documentary evidence of identity and proof of age is required before the assessment can take place. Course Locations & Duration This is an 3 day course which is conducted at a Worksafe Training Centre location, or at other locations if required. Evening and weekend courses may also be arranged.
